Crack repair consists of sealing a crack with a rubber product that is heated between 350 and 380 degrees Celsius. This product is the same used by Transports Québec. It remains extensible in summer and winter, which allows it to remain effective in extremely cold temperatures.
This process prevents water from infiltrating the crack and swelling with the winter frost.
